LED In-Counter Lighting Installation
Learn about the various methods for installing LED lights in jewelry counters or showcases
There are various brackets & accessories for installing LED lighting inside your counter or showcase. Please review the following available methods and see which one fits your needs. View costs of installation methods.
L-Bracket- For attaching lights to the front top metal or wood edges of your counters (standard method)
The use of the "L" brackets allows the user to install the SparkleLite In-Counter Lighting to the metal or wood edges of display counters. View image below to help you understand how these brackets are used.
NOTE: The use of these brackets is included in the price of the In-Counter LED lights.

Fixed Stands- For free standing lights within the counter
To install In-Counter LED lights inside your showcase without attaching the light to any corner or wall you can use our Fixed Stands. The fixed stands are custom-made stands made to the exact height that you require for your individual showcases. Please refer to the following images to help you understand how these two types of stands are installed. View pricing
Steps for Installing the fixed stands to your showcase: (View images below)
- Drill a hole in the bottom (or base board) of your showcases
- Place the bottom of the stand's tube through the hole you drilled, while one of the two rings (or nuts) is attached to the tube's top.
- Screw the other ring (nut) below (opposite side) the bottom of the showcase (base board)
- Tighten both rings to make sure the stands are securely placed to support the LED light.

The bottom 2 inches of the stand are threaded.
C-Brackets- For attaching LED lights to the side walls of wood or metal showcases.
The use of the C-brackets allows the user to install MK In-Counter Lighting to the wood or metal sides walls of a showcase, without the need to install the lights on the front top corner of the showcase
To install the LED lights, the user needs to take the C-bracket and a set of screws and screw the bracket into each of the two side walls of the showcase. Then simply place the LED light inside the C-bracket, rotate the light to the desired angle and then tighten the light fixture to the c-bracket using an allen key (provided) to hold it in place.
Note: The c-brackets should be placed parallel to each order (same height inside the counter) in order for the lights to stay completely horizontal.

Transparent plastic brackets- For attaching lights to the sides of a glass counter
The use of the transparent plastic brackets allows the user to install MK In-Counter Lighting to glass counters with the flexibility of adjusting the tilting angle of the lights.
To install the lights, the user needs to take the special glue (provided with the brackets) and place enough glue on the back of each plastic bracket and then place the bracket onto the glass counter. Then, simply wait for the glue to dry. Once it is dry you may place the in-counter lights inside the bracket, and adjust the angle of the lights by lighting the screw within the plastic bracket.
Note: The plastic brackets should be placed parallel to each order (same height inside the counter) in order for the lights to stay completely horizontal.

Velcro (Glass-to-glass)- For attaching lights to counter glass in a permanent position
The use of the velcro strip allows the user to permanently or temporarily
install MK In-Counter Lighting to glass counters at a 45 degree angle.
To install the lights, the user needs to attach one side of the velcro strip in the back of each in-counter light and the other side in the inside of your showcase or counter. Then, simply attach the in-counter light to the inside of your showcase (by attaching the velcro back together).
Note: The metal brackets are to be used only with 90 degree angle extrusion In-Counter LED lighting (as pictured above)
